Accessibility statement
Last reviewed 17 August 2026
YourMed is committed to making its marketplace and account experiences usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is treated as part of the product rather than an addition to it.
Conformance target
- The public website and the authenticated account areas are designed and reviewed against WCAG 2.2 level AA and the Israeli standard IS 5568 (Web Content Accessibility).
- Accessibility is reviewed during development with keyboard-only navigation, semantic structure review, contrast checks, and text scaling. Automated browser accessibility testing is being added to the release pipeline.
What is already in place
- Full keyboard operation, a visible focus indicator, and a skip-to-content link on every page.
- Semantic headings and landmarks, labelled form fields, and validation errors that are announced to assistive technology.
- Hebrew right-to-left and English left-to-right layouts with correct language and direction attributes, including localized dates, currency, and validation messages.
- An accessibility menu on every public page offering text size up to 140%, high and dark contrast, increased text spacing, a readable font, underlined links, an enhanced focus outline, reduced animation, and an enlarged cursor.
- Animation is reduced automatically when your operating system requests reduced motion.
Known limitations
- Interactive maps present clinic locations visually. The same results are always available as a text list with the same details, so map use is never required to complete a task.
- Documents uploaded by professionals or customers are stored as provided and are not converted into an accessible format by the platform.
- Third-party components such as the payment checkout and the automated security check follow their vendor's accessibility behaviour.
Where your settings are stored
Accessibility choices are saved in the browser you are using and are not attached to your account or shared with professionals. Clearing browser storage resets them.
